An investigation is underway into the stabbing of a man in Marlborough.
In droves, police descended on Marleberg Grange following reports of a knife attack at around 10.30pm on Wednesday evening (10 September).
Wiltshire 999s understands from neighbours who witnessed parts of the incident, two men were fighting in Garside Way – only ending when one was stabbed.

A local resident told of how they heard a man shouting ‘I’ve been stabbed’ before getting into a car and driving, or being driven, away from the scene.
Another described how they heard ‘a right ruckus’ and said it was ‘very noisy’, with a lot of shouting and swearing.

This morning (Thursday), detectives could be seen searching through dustbins outside the property as a uniformed police officer carried out door-to-door enquiries.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that officers were sent to reports of a disorder, which resulted in a man – aged in his 30s – being stabbed.
The suspect, a 34-year-old man who is known to the victim, suffered reportedly minor injuries.
He has been arrested on suspicion of affray, grievous bodily harm with intent, assault of an emergency worker and criminal damage. He remains in custody for questioning.

It’s believed the men were in the The Pelican Inn in Froxfield before the disorder broke out, with witnesses to any behaviour of concern urged to contact the force.
DS Andrew Morley said: “I appreciate the concern this incident may cause in the community, however please be assured that this is thought to be an isolated incident between two men who know each other.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the incident, and we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the disorder or the build up to it.
“We are also keen to hear from anyone who visited The Pelican Inn in Froxfield and witnessed anything suspicious, as it is understood that the men involved were there earlier in the evening.”
