A driver ‘disappeared’ after causing a woman serious injuries in Swindon.
The victim, aged in her 20s, was hit by a car from behind in Mannington Lane between 11.30pm and midnight on Friday (12 May).
The driver stopped to ask the woman if she needed an ambulance but didn’t remain at the scene – according to police investigating the incident.
The driver is described as a white male, aged in his 40s, with dark brown hair.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: We are appealing for the driver to come forward, or for anyone with information about the driver to contact us.
“We are also appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has potential dashcam footage around that time to come forward.
