PCSOs Lee Hare and Kate Jackson, known to many as “The Dynamic Duo”, joined the force on the same day in September 2006 and have continued to make a difference to local communities over the past two decades.

After completing their training, the pair began their policing careers with the Parks and Walcot Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Following a team reshuffle, Lee moved to North Swindon, while Kate spent a short period in Stratton before joining him in the area, bringing the duo back together.

During their 20 years of service, they have attended thousands of incidents, supported countless residents and worked to make a positive difference to the communities they serve.

Their work has also taken them into local schools, where they have watched children grow from nursery age into adulthood.

The milestone prompted messages of congratulations, with Reform councillor James Head writing: “Congratulations both! Thank you for all of the great work you do for our communities.”

Other comments included: “Both a credit to local policing” and “Massive congratulations to you both”.

Pupils from Haydonleigh Primary School also took the time to thank them for their service during a recent visit.

The pair’s two decades in policing have brought them extensive experience and lasting connections with the people and communities they serve.

Wiltshire Police congratulated Lee and Kate on their milestone, recognising their dedication, commitment and community service over the past 20 years.
