Several fire crews are battling a blaze at M&S in Salisbury city centre.
Emergency services were called to New Canal Street at around 7.30pm today (Friday).
Further details are not known, but locals report that around six fire engines and an aerial ladder platform appliance are in attendance at present.
As a result, the road has been closed while 999 crews are on scene.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are currently assisting the fire service with a fire at Marks and Spencer in New Canal Street, Salisbury.
“Due to the fire, and vehicles at the scene, we have a road closure in place in Catherine Street.
“Please avoid the area while the incident is dealt with.”
