A police dog has been called in to search for the driver of a car involved in a crash in Swindon tonight.
Police were called to the scene after a grey Volkswagen Passat collided with a number of parked vehicles in St Paul’s Street, just off Cricklade Road, at around 10pm.
Following the impact, the driver fled on foot and a police dog unit was sent to the area.
Two local police units, and armed response vehicle and a dog unit are all in attendance.
At the time of publishing, the police dog remained tracking the suspect down alleyways. No arrests have been made.
