A man suffered head injuries in an attack outside a service station last night.
Police were called to the scene at Esso on The Nursery in Devizes at around 10.20pm following reports that a man had been assaulted on the forecourt.
South Western Ambulance Service sent crews to the incident, with a male casualty later taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment.
Wiltshire Police says his injuries are no believed to be life-threatening.
An investigation into the assault is ongoing this morning; anyone with information should contact the force by calling 101.
