A man has been named and charged after armed police made an arrest in Trowbridge.
Following reports of a man making threats, firearms officers were deployed to an address in Navigator Close at around 9am on Sunday morning (6 September).
Three unmarked armed police vehicles arrived in the street, with the team quickly making access and detaining a man aged in his 40s at the scene.

The suspect was taken away in a police van, while firearms officers removed a crossbow, crossbow bolts and what is thought to be an air rifle from the property.
Wiltshire Police has today (Monday) confirmed that David Bartlett, 45, of Jenkins Street, Trowbridge, has since been charged with making threats to kill.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court today.
