A man has been arrested after motorists were ‘pulled over by a fake cop’ in Wiltshire.
It follows reports of a blue Ford Fiesta fitted with a blue dash light stopping vehicles across the county.
The driver has been arrested on suspicion of impersonating a police officer and is in custody for questioning.
The car in question has been seized as Wiltshire Police launch a probe into the driver’s activities.
A spokesperson for the force said that a “thorough investigation is taking place”.
Anyone who has been pulled over by this vehicle in recent days is asked to call 101.
