Detectives are continuing to question two men over a suspected murder in Trowbridge.
A 39-year-old man died in the garden of a house in Whiterow Park shortly after 9.30pm on Monday evening (25 August) – after police responded to reports of a disorder.
According to several local residents, the victim had been pushed through an upstairs window. However, this has not been confirmed by authorities at this stage.
A damaged pane of glass, as pictured by Wiltshire 999s on Tuesday, has since been removed by forensics as investigators work to establish the circumstances.

A 61-year-old man from Trowbridge and a 46-year-old man from Hilperton were arrested on suspicion of murder following the fatal incident.
Now, Wiltshire Police has been granted more time to quiz the suspects before the usual 24-hour custody time limit expired.
Detective Inspector Darren Ambrose said that locals will see more police in the area over the coming days, as investigative work continues in the area.

He said: “We recognise the concern that this sad death will have caused in the community.
“People living in the area can expect to see an increased police presence over the coming days, with a scene in place and further house to house and CCTV enquiries taking place.”

Adding: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what took place or who may have further information to contact us as a matter of urgency.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who may have camera footage taken from the time.
“As this is an ongoing investigation, I would request that people refrain from publicly speculating about the circumstances. If you have information, please share it with our investigation team.”
