A cyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A346.
Emergency services, including Wiltshire Air Ambulance, were called to the scene close to Chiseldon shortly before 1pm today (6 February).
The collision, which involved a car and a female cyclist, happened near the junction for Lower Upham Airfield.
The casualty was taken to Great Western Hospital for treatment, but her injuries are not believed to be serious.
The road – linking Swindon with Marlborough – was closed for an hour whilst 999 responders worked at the incident.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “At around 12.50pm today (06/02) we were called to a collision between a cyclist and a car on the A346 near Chiseldon.
“The female cyclist wasn’t believed to be seriously injured but has been taken to Great Western Hospital.
“The road was clear by around 1.50pm.”
