A boy has been charged with sexually abusing a five-year-old girl in Westbury.
The 14-year-old defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces three allegations.
He first appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (17 December), but the case was adjourned for a District Judge to take his pleas.
The boy is charged with the following three offences dating back to 2024:
• intentionally causing or inciting a girl aged five to engage in sexual activity of a non-penetrative nature, namely by exposing your penis and encouraging the complainant to touch it;
• intentionally touching a girl aged five and the touching was sexual (x2)
He was released on bail with conditions – including not to attend the complainant’s address, not to contact the complainant and not to have any unsupervised contact with under 16s.
The boy will next appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 7 January 2026.
