A motorcyclist has been injured in a crash on the A3102 – with traffic building on the route.
Emergency services were called to the busy road outside the Esso service station in Lyneham shortly before 6pm this evening (Wednesday).
A motorcycle appears to have been damaged, with the biker lying in the road surrounded by police officers and ambulance staff.
Their injuries aren’t believed to be significant, however majority of the roundabout is shut while 999 crews work at the scene.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be aware of road closures currently in place on the A3102 at Calne Road in Lyneham following a road traffic collision.
“Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes and expect delays in the area. Thank you for your patience.”
