An air ambulance was scrambled after a driver ploughed their car into a house.
Emergency services rushed to the incident on the B4040 at Leigh at around 5pm today (Friday).
A car struck a house on a straight stretch of road and was covered in rubble following the impact.
Fire crews were sent to the scene to extricate the injured driver. He’s understood to have been rushed to hospital for treatment.
At least two ambulances, two fire engines and Wiltshire Air Ambulance were at the incident alongside local police and a specialist roads policing officer.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Stratton and Westlea attended the incident, as well as one officer.
”One patient was medically trapped and was extricated from the vehicle by crews using Holmatro cutting equipment.
”Our crews assisted ambulance and air ambulance at the scene and carried out scene safety before handing the incident over to police.”
