The M4 in Wiltshire is closed as firefighters battle a blaze involving a lorry.
Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway between Junction 15 (Swindon) and Junction 14 (Hungerford) at around 3.30pm today (Monday).
The incident involves a heavy goods vehicle (HGV), which is on fire.
The motorway eastbound is closed while 999 crews attend. However, two lanes past the scene are expected to reopen shortly.
A National Highways spokesperson said: “The M4 Wiltshire is closed eastbound between J15 (Swindon) and J14 (Hungerford) due to an HGV fire.
“Wiltshire fire are in attendance. Delays are likely on approach to the closure and diversion routes.”
