A woman was smacked by a stranger on a bicycle in an apparently random attack in Swindon.
The victim, aged in her 20s, was walking along a footpath in Polaris Way at around 12.55pm on Friday (4 September).
As she neared the junction with North Star Avenue, a male cycled up behind her and hit her.
The cyclist then rode off along North Star Avenue before returning a short time later.
Wiltshire Police said the suspect is believed to be aged around 16 or 17 and is black.
He was wearing a light grey jacket and a white bucket hat, while his bicycle had thick tyres.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
