UPDATED: Police officers have seized weapons from two males after a woman was shot with a pellet gun while walking her dog in Swindon yesterday morning.
The incident happened at around 11am on 29 August at Lawn Woods in Old Town.
The woman in her 40s was shot in the shoulder with a BB gun, which ‘stung a bit’ but didn’t require medical treatment.
A police spokesperson confirmed that police officers attended the scene and conducted an area search; two males being located in Amersham Road.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson told Wiltshire 999s: “Words of advice have been given at this stage and the weapons found on the two males have been seized, but further enquiries are currently being carried out to establish how many victims there are in this incident and the investigation will progress from there.”
