A man was stabbed multiple times during an incident in Frome late last night.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene in Vallis Way at just before midnight.

Avon and Somerset Police have launched an investigation into the stabbing but it’s not believed any arrests have been made; the suspects left the scene before 999 crews arrived.

The victim, in his 20s, was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital. He is believed to be in a stable condition and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
