A two-vehicle crash closed a busy road near Calne this afternoon (Thursday).
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision on the A3102 Mile Elm, at the junction for Stockley, at approximately 1pm.
The incident involved a black Volkswagen Tiguan and a grey Suzuki. Both vehicles sustained front offside damage and the airbags were deployed.
Nobody suffered any noteworthy serious injuries, and both drivers were out of their vehicles.
The road was shut in both directions as police officer assessed the situation. After swiftly moving the Suzuki onto the grass, motorists were able to pass.
There were minor traffic delays on the route while the incident was dealt with. By around 3pm, traffic was flowing as usual.
