A Warminster building site was targeted in an overnight burglary of copper pipes, sparking an investigation.
The incident is believed to have happened during the evening of Sunday 30 August and into Tuesday 1 September.
Offenders are believed to have parked in the layby of the A36 before entering the Jubilee Gardens Phase Two building site.
Once inside, they are believed to have cut out copper pipes and removed them from the site.
Wiltshire Police is appealing for anyone with information about the burglary to come forward.
