A woman has been charged with stalking after allegedly labelling a man a paedophile.
29-year-old Saffron Gardener appeared before Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on 28 March.
The defendant, of Mascroft Road, Trowbridge, is accused of causing a man serious alarm or distress by stalking him between 12 April 2023 and 9 November 2023.
It’s claimed she made unwanted contact, attended his home and posted about him on social media.
Gardener also faces two allegations of sending grossly offensive messages to two different men via a public communications network.
The case was deemed too serious for magistrates, and it was sent to Swindon Crown Court.
The defendant was released on conditional bail to appear tomorrow (5 April) for a plea hearing.
