A man has been sent to prison after taking an ‘explosive’ poo outside an Audi dealership.
Convicted burglar Kai Rossiter had only been out jail for 24 hours when he committed two new offences in Salisbury on Tuesday (22 September).
The 45-year-old, of Eastland Avenue in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, was arrested when police were called to reports of him defecating in the street.
He was filmed by member of the public sitting on a perimeter barrier outside Heritage Audi in Churchfields Road – with his trousers down and buttocks exposed.
Faeces could be seen streaming from his rear, landing on the dealership’s forecourt.
Rossiter was subsequently charged with outraging public decency and being drunk and disorderly.
He was remanded in police custody and admitted both offences at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court the following day, Wednesday 23 September.
In December 2025 the defendant had been jailed for burglary after a woman discovered him carrying a hammer in the kitchen of her home near Bristol.
Having served a portion of his two-year and five-month sentence, he was released on licence.
But as a result of his new crimes, he has been returned to prison on recall for 56 days. Rossiter was also fined £140.
