A van has become wedged under a low bridge in Swindon – causing traffic chaos.
Police were called to the road traffic collision at Whitehouse Bridge, in Corporation Street, at around 1pm this afternoon (Friday).
Officers have closed the road in both directions – with motorists diverted away from the area.
It’s not clear how long the closure will be in place, but it could latest hours as recovery work and a bridge inspecting is undertaken.
