A teenager was arrested in Swindon this morning after a stop and search carried out by police turned up a knife and drugs.
Officers on a mobile patrol of the Redhouse area spotted the young male riding a bicycle dressed in dark clothing and carrying a rucksack at around 2.20am.
On stopping and searching him, they found a large knife in a sheath, which was tucked into his waistband. His rucksack contained three bags of cannabis and two grinders.
The 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicions of possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis. He has since been released under investigation.
