A teenage boy has been airlifted to hospital after a ‘welfare incident’ in Swindon.
Police officers attended an address in Elborough Road, Moredon, at around 9am today (Wednesday).
It follows a call to Wiltshire Police regarding concerns for the welfare of a child at the property.
South Western Ambulance Service sent double-crewed two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles and Wiltshire Air Ambulance to the incident.
The medical helicopter landed in a field on Akers Way so the charity’s critical care medics could provide advanced care.
A 15-year-old boy was airlifted to Bristol Children’s Hospital for urgent treatment.
Further details about his injuries are unknown at this time but they are not believed to be suspicious, a force spokesperson confirmed.
