An 18-year-old Swindon man has been remanded in custody after an alleged rape.
Ellis Crosbee appeared before Swindon Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday, 12 September).
The defendant, of Brean Road, Redhouse, is accused of raping a girl – aged under 16 – earlier this month.
Due to the serious nature of the alleged offending, he was remanded in custody ahead of a plea hearing at Swindon Crown Court in October.
