A car has been seized by police in Swindon after the driver was caught speeding down a busy main road tonight.
The Audi A5 was spotted by an officer in Wootton Bassett Road before it turned onto Great Western Way and Drive a speed whilst being followed by a marked police car at around 8.45pm.
The car was eventually stopped in Scarborough Road, off Cheney Manor Road where officers found it had no insurance. The owner — a man in his 20s — removed an empty baby seat from the car before leaving the area.
It was subsequently seized at shortly before 10pm, and the two occupants had to walk the rest of their journey.
