The police helicopter was over Swindon late last night as officers searched for a missing woman.
The 72-year-old, who was found safe at around 3am, disappeared from her address in Lower Statton at before midnight sparking a major police search operation.
Wiltshire Search and Rescue, armed officers, special constables, the drone unit and the National Police Air Service were all involved in finding the missing woman.
The police drone was unable to fly due to poor weather but that didn’t stop the drone unit’s officers patrolling on foot to assist with the search.
