A cordon is in place as police deal with a mental health incident in Swindon town centre.
Emergency services were called to reports of a man in distress on the edge of a multi-storey car park in Islington Street at around 3pm today (Wednesday).
Police have cordoned off the area, including Gordon Gardens and College Street.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service are also in attendance, with the aerial ladder platform appliance.
Pedestrians and motorists are being asked to avoid the area while the incident is ongoing.
