Police responded after a car crashed into railings on a steep hill in Swindon.
Officers raced to reports of a road traffic collision in Deacon Street at around 9.15pm on Sunday evening (11 January).
The red saloon car struck some railings on the pavement close to Radnor Street Cemetery.
Concerned about how the vehicle had come to rest in such a position, officers carried out a short investigation into what occurred.
Their enquires swiftly revealed that the car had broken down – and subsequently rolled into the railings.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that the case was closed with no further action.
