A body has been discovered in a field alongside a busy main road through Swindon.
Emergency services were called to the tragic scene off Wootton Bassett Road yesterday afternoon (Friday 26 August).
Several police vehicles were in attendance, parked opposite The Runner pub.
As well as local officers, detectives from Swindon CID were also reportedly called to the incident.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that the body of a man in his 30s was located in the area.
A spokesperson for the force said his death is “not being treated as suspicious and our thoughts are with his family”.
