Police are concerned for the welfare of a 50-year-old man from Swindon.
Melvin Mapstone, from Stratton, has not been seen since the early hours of this morning.
Melvin is described as 5 ft 9 inches tall and of large build. It is believed he was wearing a grey or navy blue fleece, jeans and brown walking boots.
It is possible he may have shaved off his beard, and may not be wearing glasses.
