Specialist roads policing officers are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on one of Swindon’s busiest main roads – Queens Drive.

The road is closed between Coate Water and Windsor Road (in the direction of the Magic Roundabout only) after a pedestrian was hit by a silver BMW in the second lane.

The collision happened at around 4pm this evening, Sunday 5 November.

Tri-force Specialist Operations’ collision investigation unit is at the scene.
