A man’s been charged with drink driving following an anonymous tip-off to the police from a member of the public who called in their concerns.
Following the call, officers attended the Neston and Corsham area in search of the suspect.
At just before midnight yesterday, the vehicle was stopped in Neston and the driver of the car provided a positive sample of breath. He was subsequently arrested and taken to Melksham custody where he provided a positive sample on an evidential machine.
Wiltshire Police says 30-year-old Ryan Callum Harte, of Neston, has since been charged with driving over the prescribed alcohol limit.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
