A man’s suffered serious injuries during an incident at a property in Swindon today.
Eight police officers responded to reports of a ‘disturbance’ at a home in Logan Close, just off Queens Drive, at around 2.30pm this afternoon, Friday 20 July.
It’s understood that the man, in his 30s, sustained slice wounds to his arm – which were self-inflicted, according to a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
The casualty was given first aid by police officers while they awaited an ambulance. He was seen to have the majority of his right arm bandaged up.
A dog unit from the Tri-force Specialist Operations Collaboration also attend the scene where the handler provided first aid. The police dog wasn’t required at the incident.
