A man has been arrested after crashing a van into a block of flats during a pursuit.
Police chased a blue Ford Tourneo after it failed to stop for officers in Pembroke Road, Salisbury, at around 11.10am on Wednesday (30 July).
The short pursuit ended when the vehicle left the carriageway and collided with a block of flats in Gainsborough Close.
The driver ditched the van and ran into the building – followed by officers.
The suspect, 36-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and drug driving.
He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
