A crash involving an overturned Land Rover has closed the M4 near Wiltshire.
Emergency services were called to reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the westbound carriageway shortly before 7pm today (Friday).
A while Land Rover flipped onto its roof, coming to rest in lane two of the live motorway between junctions 17 (Chippenham) and 18 (Bath).

The driver, and any other occupants, miraculous escaped without any serious injuries. Paramedics treated one man for minor wounds to his head.
Motorists are being held westbound while 999 crews dealt with the incident and recover the vehicle involved.
It’s not yet clear when the carriageway will reopen – but given nobody was seriously hurt, closures are likely to be lifted imminently.
