There was a large emergency response in Westbury yesterday afternoon (Monday 10 July).
Paramedics and police officers, including Wiltshire Air Ambulance, rushed to reports of a person injured at an address in Sandalwood Road at around 3.30pm.
However, on arrival, the incident was quickly deemed to be a medical episode and no criminality is believed to have taken place – and no arrests were made.
The casualty was taken to hospital as a precaution, but there were no reported serious injuries, Wiltshire Police confirmed.
At the height of the incident, locals reported seeing four ambulance vehicles, an air ambulance and six police cars on scene.
