A fundraiser has been launched after the body of a missing mum was found in Swindon.
Concerns for the welfare of 30-year-old Danielle Geraghty were raised by her family on Wednesday (13 December) – and the police were informed of her disappearance.
Searches were carried out and on Thursday morning (14 December), she was found dead in a garden off Lennox Drive in Walcot.
It’s understood that detectives don’t believe her death was suspicious, but investigations are still ongoing to establish the facts.
A GoFundMe has been set up in a bid to help her family cover the cost of her funeral in January.
Organiser Bobbi Nicholles, a friend of Danielle’s, said: “My beautiful friend Danielle’s body was found yesterday morning in Walcot, her family and friends are in absolute pieces and it has come as a huge shock to us all.
“Danielle was loud, bubbly and lived for a good time, she always brought a smile in the room and with her around it was never a dull moment.
“With it being Christmas around the corner and this coming so sudden her family don’t have the funds for a proper burial.
“She was a brilliant mother who always had her daughters best interests at heart and was just lush to be around all the time, if we could all come together to donate and give this beautiful women the send off she deserves it would mean so much to her friends and family.
