Firefighters are working to rescue a dog from between two walls in Salisbury.

The dog became trapped when it chased a cat into a space too small for itself in Elm Grove Road at around 11.30am this morning.

One fire crews, from Salisbury Fire Station, are at the scene working to free the animal.

On social media, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service pointed out that today is, ironically, International Cat Day.
