A father has paid tribute to his ‘most beautiful’ daughter after a fatal crash in Wiltshire.
19-year-old Rosa Taylor, from Lancashire, died after a car she was travelling in was struck by a lorry on the A4 in Corsham last Thursday afternoon (24 July).
Three air ambulances were sent to the incident, alongside a significant number of other emergency services. Despite their best efforts, she could not be revived.
In a public tribute on social media, her father Gareth Taylor wrote: “I’d like to apologise to anyone who didn’t already know about the passing of my beautiful daughter Rosa.
“She was involved in a tragic road accident in Wiltshire on 24th July. She passed away instantly at the scene and without pain.
“Anyone who knew Rosa would agree she was the most beautiful person inside and out. She was the very definition of a spirit that shines brightly and dies young, loved by anyone who met her.
“She was at once the most talented, most beautiful and loving soul I’ve ever known.
“Please share this post is if you feel it’s appropriate. Love you Rosa, always have done, always will.”

Rosa, who worked as a performer, had been making her way to an event when the collision occurred.
Her colleagues have launched a GoFundMe to “raise as much funds as possible to give our gorgeous girl Rosa the send off she deserves” and to “take the pressure off her wonderful family during this difficult time”.
On the fundraising site, company director Kelly Bryant-Cunningham wrote: “Rosa tragically passed away on Thursday 24th July in a RTC out of our city [Liverpool] – on her way to doing what she does best – performing.
“A gift she had that we were all so lucky to have witnessed. She performed for so many children of Liverpool during her time with PICK’N’MIX, giving them the birthday they deserved and now its our turn to do it for our Rosa.
“Rosa was a shining star, so full of life, love and talent. A real life princess who had a passion for dancing, singing and acting. She will forever be part of our PICK’N’MIX family.
“Rosa – your laughter, your kindness and your spirit will stay with us forever. Forever loved, forever cherished, forever 19.”
