Emergency services are dealing with a distressed man in Swindon town centre.
Police cordoned off Queens Street Car Park near The Waiting Room pub at around 6pm after they were called to a mental health incident.
A man in distress was reportedly on the former Wilko building rooftop.
A fire crew and aerial ladder platform appliance were sent to the incident alongside police and the ambulance service.
By about 7pm, the person had been brought to safety and was in an ambulance – surrounded by several police officers offering assistance to medics.
