A Devizes drug dealer has been jailed after nitrous oxide canisters were found dumped.
Wiltshire Police launched an investigation into the discovery outside an address in Bath Road – coupled with concerns about suspicious activity.
The probe, which started on 18 September, resulted in officers searching the property. The occupant, Michael Hampton, was arrested in connection with drug supply.

Police subsequently located and seized three mobile phones, approximately 15 grams of cocaine, 12.74 grams of cannabis and more than £4,000 in cash.
The 20-year-old defendant pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of Class B drugs and possessing criminal property.
At Salisbury Crown Court on 1 December, Hampton was sentenced to two years and three months imprisonment.
Inspector Simon Garrett said: “This sentence holds Hampton to account for his actions. Drug dealing has a big impact on local communities, leading to increased crime, litter, and anti-social behaviour.
“We also know that children and young people are exploited by criminals running supply lines, and Hampton was no different, seeking out vulnerable people to line his pockets.
“Our message is clear: there is no place for drugs in Devizes or Wiltshire.”
