A group of medics travelling in a non-emergency ambulance stopped at the crash to provide first aid to the injured male – believed to be in his 20s.
An emergency ambulance arrived at the incident shortly before 6pm, where they found their patient at the roadside unable to move his legs.
The patient is expected to be taken to hospital for further assessments and treatment; the extent of his injuries are currently unknown.
