UPDATE: This incident has cleared – traffic is now flowing.
A crash on the A419 in Swindon has caused major delays this morning (Wednesday) – including on the M4.
Emergency services are currently dealing with a minor road traffic collision on the northbound carriageway just off Junction 15.
The incident, which is believed to involved two vehicles and happened at around 8am, has blocked the route.
As a result, motorists are queuing back onto the M4 – with miles of standstill traffic on the approach to the Junction 15 slip road.
For unknown reasons, traffic is also queuing towards Junction 15 southbound on the A419. Again, there are queues on the A346 Marlborough Road.
