Three men who were killed in a crash on the A420 were from the Chippenham area.
The Ford Fiesta they were travelling in ploughed into a coach on the main route past Faringdon in Oxfordshire, just five miles over the Wiltshire border.
Emergency services, including Thames Valley Air Ambulance, rushed to the incident shortly before 10am yesterday morning (Sunday, 21 August).
First responders, helped by members of the public, were unable to save the lives of three young males – aged 18, 18 and 20.
Two other males in the vehicle, aged 19 and 21, survived the ordeal with less serious injuries.
A source told Wiltshire 999s that the group of friends were from the Chippenham area and were travelling back from an all-night party when the crash happened.
