CCTV has caputered two men stealing jewellery worth in the region of £20,000 – while both wore bright orange gloves.
Wiltshire Police said the high-value burglary took place at a property in Purton, near Swindon, at around midday on 29 July.
The men entered the address and stole a safe containing jewellery worth up to a staggering £20,000.
When leaving the property, the men were challenged by a neighbour. They claimed to be removal men before assaulting the neighbour and fleeing the scene.
They left in a white Astra van, which has the number plate VU57 ORL but is believed to change to cloned plates.
The van is distinctive as it has a poppy on the front grill and a roof rank and is believed to be involved in other burglaries in Surrey.
