A baby murder probe is continuing – with police spotted outside a suspect’s house.
Officers attended an address in Tournament Road, Salisbury, yesterday (Wednesday, 22 November).
Locals say a large van, a dog unit and several other police vehicles were parked outside the property.
Neighbours believe specially-trained search officers were deployed at the scene for the third time since the investigation started back in late 2022.
Last year detectives questioned an 18-year-old woman, a 23-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman in custody, where they were held on suspicion of murder. They were later released on bail.
It followed the suspicious death of a five-week-old baby boy at Salisbury District Hospital on 9 September, eight days after the newborn was admitted with injuries.
Searches of the house, the garden and vehicles have taken place on two occasions in the past – 1 November 2022 and 23 March this year.
Wiltshire Police didn’t comment on activity at the location yesterday, but a spokesperson said: “There is no update at this stage – the investigation remains ongoing.”
