A man has been arrested for attempted murder after a man was seriously injured in Bath.
Armed police were deployed to an attack in Sheridan Road on Tuesday morning (30 April).
The victim, a man aged in his 40s, was rushed to hospital with significant wounds – which are being described a life-changing.
A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Neighbourhood Inspector Jon Nash said: “We recognise that this is a very concerning incident and we are conducting a thorough investigation into what happened.”
