An air ambulance has flown a casualty to hospital after a serious crash near Wroughton.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle road traffic collision at just before 3pm today, where a black BMW and grey Skoda were involved in the smash.
It happened just outside Wroughton, near Swindon, on the A4361 Salthrop.
Five ambulances attended the scene alongside an air ambulance, a paramedics officer, a rapid response vehicle and a number of police officers – including Tri-force Roads Policing Unit.
One patient, who was freed from a car by firefighters, was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol while two other casualties were taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
The road reopened at around 5.20pm.
