The A303 is closed in Wiltshire as an air ambulance attends a serious crash.
Emergency services were called to the major route at Wylye following a road traffic collision at around 3pm today (Thursday).
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance was among the 999 teams responding to the incident – which has shut the road in both directions.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Drivers are advised of road closures currently in place on the A303 in both directions at Wylye following a road traffic collision.
“The carriageway is likely to be closed for a number of hours.
“Please seek alternative routes and expect delays in the area while emergency services attend.”
